Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease the 9-inch round cake pan.
- Combine the yellow cake mix with the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the entire can of crushed pineapple (with juice) to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the batter for a light, fluffy cake. You can prepare the batter a day in advance and refrigerate it.
