Description
A refreshing beverage made with sun-ripened peaches and brewed black tea, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 4 cups (960 ml) water
- 4 teaspoons loose black tea or 4 tea bags
- 2–3 ripe peaches (about 250–300 g)
- ½ to 1 cup (100–200 g) granulated sugar
- Ice
Instructions
- Prepare the peaches by washing and pitting them. Slice into thin wedges and set aside.
- Boil water in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Steep the tea in the boiling water for 5–7 minutes.
- Sweeten the tea by adding sliced peaches and sugar while the tea is warm.
- Strain the tea into a pitcher, removing the tea leaves and peach slices.
- Cool the tea at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve the chilled tea over ice, garnishing with fresh peach slices if desired.
Notes
For a more intense peach flavor, muddle a few peach slices before steeping.
