Description

Ingredients

  • 250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 125 g (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 100 g (½ cup) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 226 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 80 g (⅓ cup) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, bananas)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a large bowl, mix 250 g (2 cups) of flour, 100 g (½ cup) of sugar, and 125 g (½ cup) of softened butter until a dough forms.
  2. Press the dough evenly onto a 12-inch pizza pan to form a crust. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.
  3. Beat 226 g (8 oz) of softened cream cheese with 80 g (⅓ cup) of powdered sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Arrange your choice of fresh fruits on top.
  5. Refrigerate the fruit pizza for at least 30 minutes before slicing into wedges.

Notes

Ensure the crust cools completely before adding the cream cheese layer to avoid sogginess. You can prepare the crust and cream cheese layer a day in advance.
