Description

Ingredients

  • 2 each Red bell peppers
  • 2 each Yellow bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 each Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 400 grams Passata
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 handful Basil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a spacious pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Sauté the garlic, onions, and bell peppers for about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the tomato paste, passata, balsamic vinegar, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper into the pan.
  4. Simmer the mixture on medium heat for 10 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Mix in the oregano and fresh basil, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
