Description

Crispy chicken wonton tacos offer a delightful twist on traditional tacos, filled with savory chicken and topped with fresh slaw.


Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Shredded cabbage or slaw mix
  • Chopped green onions
  • Soy sauce or a flavorful sauce of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin lightly and mold the wonton wrappers into the cups.
  3. Bake the wonton shells for about 10-12 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Add the cooked shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing the chicken mixture into the baked wonton shells. Top with fresh slaw and any desired sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
