Description

Delightful confetti sprinkle cupcakes perfect for birthdays and celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • Frosting of choice (buttercream recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Fold in the rainbow sprinkles gently.
  7. Fill the cupcake liners until about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
  10. Frost as desired with your favorite frosting and add more sprinkles on top for decoration.

Notes

Store cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature. Best enjoyed within 2-3 days. Freeze without frosting for longer storage.
