Scale
- 450 g (16 oz) spaghetti
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 100 g (1 cup) finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 60 g (4 tbsp) unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

- Sauté the garlic for about 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, slowly incorporating the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Gradually add reserved pasta water until the sauce reaches your desired consistency, then stir in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For extra creaminess, you can add heavy cream. Adjust the tanginess with more lemon juice if necessary.
