- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup whiskey (bourbon or your choice)

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place the cubed bread in a large mixing bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, whiskey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the cubed bread, ensuring all pieces are well soaked. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes.
- Gently fold in ½ cup of caramel sauce, mixing just enough to create swirls.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
- Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top before serving.
