Description

Valentine’s Day Strawberry Donuts are soft, fluffy baked donuts infused with real strawberry flavor and topped with a pretty pink glaze. Festive, romantic, and easy to make, they’re perfect for Valentine’s Day breakfasts, brunches, or sweet gifts made with love.


Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup strawberry puree (fresh or frozen, blended smooth)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons strawberry puree
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Valentine’s sprinkles
  • Freeze-dried strawberry crumbs
  • Heart-shaped sugar decorations

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Whisk sugar, butter, and eggs until smooth. Add milk, strawberry puree, and vanilla.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet and stir just until combined.
  5. Pipe or spoon batter into donut pan, filling cavities 3/4 full.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until donuts spring back lightly.
  7. Cool 5 minutes in pan, then transfer to a rack.
  8. Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth. Dip or drizzle over cooled donuts.
  9. Add sprinkles or decorations before glaze sets.
