Turkey Stuffing Balls are a delightful way to use holiday leftovers. These savory bites are soft inside and crispy outside, packed with classic stuffing flavors. They are perfect for festive dinners, potlucks, or a cozy snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked turkey, diced or shredded
- 3 cups prepared stuffing (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried sage
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil spray (for coating the baking sheet)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray a large baking sheet with vegetable oil or line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey, stuffing, eggs, chicken broth, cheese, parsley, garlic powder, sage, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated and the mixture holds together.
- Form the mixture into 2-inch balls and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. You should get approximately 18-20 balls.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the balls are firm to the touch and golden brown on the outside.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- If your stuffing is dry, add an extra splash of broth, but avoid making the mixture too wet.
- Rotate the baking tray halfway through cooking for even baking.
- For extra crunch, you can roll the balls in seasoned breadcrumbs before baking.
- These balls can be made ahead and frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes.
