Description

Turkey Stuffing Balls are a delightful way to use holiday leftovers. These savory bites are soft inside and crispy outside, packed with classic stuffing flavors. They are perfect for festive dinners, potlucks, or a cozy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, diced or shredded
  • 3 cups prepared stuffing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil spray (for coating the baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray a large baking sheet with vegetable oil or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey, stuffing, eggs, chicken broth, cheese, parsley, garlic powder, sage, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated and the mixture holds together.
  3. Form the mixture into 2-inch balls and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. You should get approximately 18-20 balls.
  4. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the balls are firm to the touch and golden brown on the outside.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • If your stuffing is dry, add an extra splash of broth, but avoid making the mixture too wet.
  • Rotate the baking tray halfway through cooking for even baking.
  • For extra crunch, you can roll the balls in seasoned breadcrumbs before baking.
  • These balls can be made ahead and frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes.
