Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a large casserole dish with butter. Cut the apples in half and remove the core, placing them cut side up in the dish.
- Combine the filling ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix the pecans, coconut, honey, coconut oil or butter, cinnamon, and sea salt until well-combined.
- Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the filling onto the cut side of each apple half, distributing evenly.
- Bake the apples in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
