  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F.
  2. Score the back of the ribs with diagonal cuts or remove the membrane.
  3. Mix the dry rub ingredients and rub generously on both sides of the ribs.
  4. Prepare the baking sheet and lay the ribs meat-side up, then cover with foil.
  5. Bake the ribs for 2 to 2.5 hours, until tender.
  6. Cook the Sticky Asian Sauce ingredients in a saucepan for 5 minutes, then cool.
  7. Remove the foil when the ribs are tender to dry the outer layer.
  8. Broil the ribs with sauce for 2-3 minutes, then apply more sauce and broil again.
  9. Garnish with leftover sauce, sesame seeds, and green onions before serving.
