- Incorporate butter: Gradually add the salt and butter, one tablespoon at a time.
- Knead the dough: Increase the mixer speed to medium and knead for about 10 minutes.
- Refrigerate overnight: Lightly oil a bowl, place the dough inside, and cover it.
- Make the filling: Mix the filling ingredients and fold in the chopped pecans.
- Prepare your pan: Grease the pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough: Roll the chilled dough into a rectangle.
