Description

This Peach Sorbet recipe is a refreshing and fruity summer treat made from fresh ripe peaches blended with sugar, lemon juice, and water.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 12 tablespoons honey (optional, for added sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Peel, pit, and slice the fresh ripe peaches.
  2. In a blender, add the sliced peaches, sugar, fresh lemon juice, and water.
  3. Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste the blended mixture and add honey if desired.
  5. Pour the peach mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and cover tightly with plastic wrap.
  6. Freeze for at least 3 to 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes during the first 2 hours.
  7. Scoop the sorbet into bowls and garnish with fresh peach slices.
