Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and matcha green tea powder until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
