Description

Mango Jalapeño Hummus is a vibrant twist on classic hummus, blending creamy chickpeas with sweet, juicy mango and a gentle kick of jalapeño.


Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup ripe mango, peeled and chopped
  • 12 tablespoons jalapeño, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • 35 tablespoons cold water, as needed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for serving

Instructions

  1. Add chickpeas, mango, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, jalapeño, cumin, and salt to a food processor. Blend until mostly smooth.
  2. With the processor running, slowly add cold water and olive oil until creamy and smooth.
  3. Adjust seasoning with more lemon juice, jalapeño, or salt as desired.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish if desired.
