- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2–3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a heart-shaped baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and remove from heat.
- Stir the granulated sugar into the warm butter, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Beat in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and smooth into an even layer.
- In a bowl, mash raspberries with cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy but slightly textured.
- Dollop the raspberry mixture over the brownie layer and swirl gently.
- Add the remaining brownie batter on top and smooth.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into heart shapes.
