- 1/2 cup Salted butter (softened)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried parsley flakes
- 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 4 slices Bread slices (sourdough or hearty white)
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices (or your favorite cheese)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, stir together the softened butter, garlic powder, dried parsley flakes, grated parmesan cheese, and salt.
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Place half of the bread slices, buttered side down, in the skillet. Layer on the sliced cheese, then add the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes. Carefully flip each sandwich with a spatula.
- Cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Optional: Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!
