Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract, almond extract (if using), and salt to the butter mixture. Beat until combined.
- Gradually add the flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing on low speed until the dough comes together.
- Gently fold in the rainbow sprinkles, being careful not to overmix.
- Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan and press it down into an even layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
