- 2 cups whole milk

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and optional raisins or chocolate chips. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt until well combined.

- Let the mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes to absorb the liquid.
