A quick and easy tonic made with ginger, lemon, honey, and water that can be enjoyed warm or chilled.
Ingredients

- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 8 oz warm water
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients and tools.
- Peel and mince the ginger.
- Heat the water to around 120–140°F (50–60°C).
- Add ginger to the warm water and steep for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the lemon juice.
- Stir in honey until dissolved.
- Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.
- Serve warm or pour over ice for a chilled version.
Notes
Use fresh ginger for the best flavor. This recipe can be customized with various sweeteners or additional spices.
